We’ve come to the point in the formation of CCFM that we have our mission, name, and a team. At this point we have all decided to put off the launch of CCFM for a year, the main reason for this is that two of our staff members were going on NET Canada, but on the back end I did have some business work that needed to be done as well. So I’ve been given a year to get the business formed, get non-profit status, and find our first ministries. All the while wondering if the two staff people I watched go off to Canada would ever return! If this isn’t a recipe for procrastination I don’t know what is. In the end everything was done in what appears to be perfect timing, while I did procrastinate 2 months in forming the business, and a full 6 months before turning in our tax-exemption application everything did get done in a timely manner. I act like this is an achievement, but who am I kidding, I had a year to get it done! The toughest part was hearing about how great Sarah and Kyle’s year was going. They were each on different teams, Sarah was on a retreat team and Kyle was on a parish team. They were growing individually as well as ministers, and I had a sinking fear that they wouldn’t be coming home when their year was up. I kept much of this fear to myself as I didn’t want to influence their decisions any more than I had already, but at some point I had to start looking for ministries of our own for them to fill if they did discern to come home. They also needed a commitment from me that they had a job. So we had this awkward balance of mutually needed commitments that had to time perfectly with future ministries. In the end that God guy is funny again and it all times and works out perfectly. As cheesy as it sounds, this was the year of letting go and letting God. Small Cash Loans With No Credit Check
