Prayers for Revive!

 On Saturday, April 27th, CCFM and a team of local ministers will be hosting Revive, a youth rally for teens in the Brazos Valley area. There will be 4 different bands and song artists represented, David Thies, Dave Moore, David Casper and Soundwave. There's going be a ton of free SWAG - sunglasses, frisbees, drawstring bags and more. The Knights are cooking. There will be talks and games. And, as if all that wasn't enough, Reconciliation is going to be available and we'll have Mass and Adoration!
Sounds like a AWESOME way to spend a Saturday if you ask me! You don't want to miss it, so PLEASE come out and join us! The event is open to youth in grades 6-12 and we're still looking for adult volunteers. You can register to participate or to volunteer at www.revivebcs.org.  
 Lastly, the Revive staff will be praying a novena to St. Louis de Montfort, who is an abolutely spectacular saint. He's honored for his great devotion to Mary and the Eucharist and his feast day is April 28th, the day after the rally. So, we will be entrusting the event to him, and through him to Mary and through her to God. The novena and our petition is posted below. Please join us in praying! Novena to Saint Louis de Montfort for the Revive youth rally: 
Great Apostle and son of Our Lady, St. Louis de Montfort, your only desire was to set aflame the world with the love of Jesus through Mary.  We implore you to obtain for us a perfect and constant devotion to Mary that we may participate in the faith, hope, and charity of Our Lady and that we may receive the favor we ask of you in this novena:
  For the upcoming Revive youth rally, that all the youth who attend will be strengthened in their walk with Christ and become more excited about their faith. For blessing on the bands performing, that they may be an effective means of evangelization in proclaiming the good news of God’s presence in our lives. For the priests who will be at the rally to hear confessions and celebrate Mass, that they may be filled with Christ’s spirit as they distribute these sacraments and renewed in their love of the Church by joy of the youth at the rally. May the love of God, His Holy Spirit, descend upon us all.
