A Message from Kyle Turner, Journey Ministry Leader at St. Mary's Church in Caldwell
Although we are quickly approaching the very joyfilled Christmas season, I’m sorry to say that I must break rather not joyous news. As some of you may know, my health has dwindled the past couple of months. And, so that St. Mary’s and CCFM have the best programs possible and that my health is best possibly treated, I must leave CCFM and the Journey program effective at the new year. Chris Johnson, a former volunteer with Journey, has been hired by CCFM, and will be taking over the Journey ministry at St. Mary's to ensure a smooth transition, while Matt Rice will continue coordinating and overseeing the ministry. I will miss this community of fantastic people so very much. I have very fond memories of retreats, Revive, and all of the wonderful people who treated me like family. I would like to thank everyone who welcomed me over a year ago with open arms and good advice and I ask that you extend that same warmth to Chris as he joins the great family here at CCFM. I would like to personally thank Matt Rice, Fr. Bernard Hung, Fr. Brion Zarsky, Fr. Ryan Higdon, Msgr. John McCaffrey, Weslei Rice, Sarah Masters, Alyssa Trutter, Jeremy Stavinoha, Jennifer Masters, Chris Johnson, Tina Vavra, Dara Pomykal, Andrea Enrique, Tasha Pipkin, Ernest Martinez, Albin Horak, Anita Hoelscher, and the countless volunteers, parents, and students who made coming to work such a joy and privilege. I appreciate your prayers during this time and I hope that you and your family enjoy this wonderful Advent season and a blessed Christmas together.
